The total gross enrolment ratio has been weighted with the share of women in enrolment to calculate a total ratio for men and women. The average enrolment ratio is 26.8% with a standard deviation of 24.0%. The highest ratio is 89.9% (Republic of Korea) while the lowest one is 0.0% (Somalia).
These percentages have been directly translated into points, i.e. 1 point for every 1%.
