The average sanitation coverage is 65.2% with a standard deviation of 28.1%. The highest value is 100% (several countries), while the lowest one is 6% (Ethiopia).

This figure estimate the percentage of the population which has access to improved sanitation facilities. Improved facilities are those which likely ensure privacy and hygienic use.
