The East Asian country has a population of almost 48
million inhabitants and is the 13th largest economy in the world. The
GDP per capita is above world average and also the economic activity
rate is quite o.k. and the unemployment rate is pretty low.
The life expectancy is quite high. One reason for that may be the low
HIV rate. South Korea is famous for their education system. They have a
school life expectancy of 16 years which is very long and the highest
tertiary education enrolment ratio in the world.
