Slovenia

Sources: United Nations Statistics Division and World Bank

Slovenia is a Central-European country and member of the EU. It is a small country with about 2 million inhabitants. The GDP per capita is high compared with other Eastern European countries, while the economic activity rate is not that good. An unemployment rate of about 6% is not that bad.

A life expectancy of more than 76 years is quite good, and their HIV rate is incredibly low. On the other side, their GHG emissions are quite high. As for education statistics, the school life expectancy in the country is very high and also the tertiary education enrolment ratio is very high.
