Lithuania is a country in the North-East of Europe and joined the European Union in 2004. It is a quite small country with a population of about 3.4 million inhabitants. Despite this and the below world-average GDP per capita, Lithuania is among the top 75 economic powers in the world. The economic activity and unemployment rate are not that good either.

The life expectancy is quite o.k., while the low HIV rate is very good. Also the GHG emissions are not that high. From the displayed statistics, you can conclude that the Lithuanian education system is quite good. The school life expectancy is very long, the literacy rate for adults and youth is very high and also the tertiary education enrolment rate is quite good.
